You can print only charts that are active (maximized) in the chart work area. The local system
printer configuration settings are used while printing the chart.

Procedure

To print a chart:
1.

Click Print in the chart window.

2.

In the Print dialog box box, select the printer configuration and click Print.

The chart for the selected duration is printed. If you zoomed in or zoomed out on a set of data
points for a specific duration, only that focused area is printed.

Saving charts

You can save the current state of a chart as an image file, in a png format.

Procedure

To save a chart:
1.

Click Save Snapshot in the chart window.

2.

In the Save As dialog box box, select the location where you want to save the png file and
click Save.

Zooming in and out on charts

You can zoom in or zoom out on data displayed in a chart window. By default, the data displayed
is in the zoom out mode, where the data samples collected for the selected duration are displayed.
The performance data collection occurs at the collection frequency that you specified while you
configured the monitoring settings for the storage system.

Suppose, the duration you selected for plotting a chart is the last 24 hours, the time scale before
you zoom in displays data samples collected across the last 24 hours. If you want to zoom into
data collected in the first 6 hours, drag the slider on the time scale to position at the 6 hour duration.
Only those data points collected in the first 6 hours are displayed in the chart window.

Procedure

To zoom into the duration for which you want to view focused data:
1.

In a chart window – Zoom area, use the pointing device to drag the slider backwards on the
time scale to zoom in to the duration you want to view (see following image).

The time scale represents the duration you selected while configuring the chart settings.

2.

Release the slider at the duration you want.
