When the LCD screen goes blank it is safe to remove nu•m8 from your child. The status on the
portal will be updated to “Off”.
To remove nu•m8 depress the release button in the housing with the stylus provided and the
bracelet will release. Place nu•m8 on the desk top charger to charge so that it will be ready for use
next time.
Please be aware that once nu•m8 has been switched off it can only be switched on again by
inserting the strap in to the housing
If the nu•m8 strap is removed before nu•m8 has been switched off or outside of a Home Zone you
will receive a bracelet compromise message. nu•m8 will automatically go in to 1 minute live track
and a text message and email alert is sent to the parent with the child‟s current location.
