Using special effects (Function mode)
The camera features special effects functions that allow you to take black
and white (BLACK&WHITE) shots and to shoot text written on a white
board (WHITE BOARD) or blackboard (BLACK BOARD) so that it is easy
to read. Note that only the BLACK&WHITE effect is available when the
Mode dial is set to “
”.
Press the (Menu) button.
● The menu screen appears.
Use or on the
Arrow pad to select
"FUNCTION" and then
press .
Press or to select
"BLACK&WHITE", "WHITE
BOARD" or "BLACK BOARD",
and press the [OK] button.
● If you are shooting a movie,
the "WHITE BOARD" and
"BLACK BOARD" options are
not available.
● You can still take pictures at
this point.
Press the [OK] button.
● The setting is saved and you
exit the menu screen.
● In Still picture shooting mode,
the monitor is automatically
switched on while you are
shooting in Function mode.
