5. Select the scan configuration Configure Before Scan.
6. Right-click on Configure Before Scan and choose an interface to
use for configuring before scanning.
TWAIN—The Basic Interface or Advanced Interface opens for you
to configure the scanning. See “Scanning from the Basic Interface”
on page 44 or “Scanning from the Advanced Interface” on page 48.
WIA—The Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) interface opens for
you to configure the scanning. The WIA option is only available if
your computer is running Microsoft Windows XP. See “Scanning
with the Windows Image Acquisition Interface” on page 130.
7. Click OK or Apply on the OneTouch Properties window.
Select the button.

Before Scan.
Right-click on
Configure Before
Scan to get the
menu, and choose
the interface to use
for scanning.
