Q.

Can large capacity CompactFlash cards (eg. over 1GB) be copied?

A.

Yes. Apart from Magicstor and Hitachi Microdrives (which are not supported), the

Fotobar unit will support the copying of CompactFlash cards over 1GB. if a storage card
has a fi le with 2GB of data, and the CD-R’s capacity is 700MB, once the 700MB is used up,
the Fotobar has an inbuilt function which will automatically ask the user to insert another
disk in order to continue burning.

Q.

Can a CD be written to more than once (ie. Is multi-session supported)?

A.

Yes, multi-session recording is supported. So it is possible to burn fi les to the same CD

until it is full, at which time Fotobar’s LCM screen will alert you with a “Not
programmable” message.

Q.

Can only selected fi les be copied from a card to CD (so can I select certain fi les to copy

across from the card to the CD)?

A.

No. The Fotobar can only backup the entire contents of the storage card to CD.

Q.

Can the Fotobar be used as a portable music CD and MP3 player through headphones?

A.

Yes. There is a headphone jack on the Fotobar, and it supports the playing of audio CDs

and MP3 fi le format.

Q.

Can TIFF and QuickTime fi les be copied from a card to a CD?

A.

Yes. Whilst the Fotobar unit will support the coping of these type of fi les from digital

media card to CD, it does not support the playback of the TIFF and QuickTime fi le
formats.

Q.

Can image fi les be written back to a card from a CD in standalone mode or when connected

to a PC?

A.

If the Fotobar is in standalone mode, fi les cannot back-up to a card. However, if the

Fotobar is connected to a PC, it can be used as an external CD-ROM and burner, and can
back-up the fi les to a digital media card.

What accessories are included with the Fotobar unit?

A.

To charge the rechargeable battery pack,

connect it to the Fotobar unit, then connect

Yes. The Fotobar supports 100-240V, so is

perfect for international travel, requiring
