Check the source player input channel and

ensure the input selector is set to that channel.

If external speakers are connected, set the

speaker selector to EXT. If no external

speakers are connected, select INT.

Check overall cabling and viability of external

equipment.

Plug the power cord from the GIG STAR to a

wall outlet.

Use an external RF Modulator.

Increase space between microphone and

speakers.

Turn down microphone or guitar volume.

Lower the treble levels.

Try other MP3/JPEG encoding software or disc

writing software for writing the discs.

Plug the AM and FM antennas in and position

them in an open area with little to no physical

obstacles.

The input selector is not set to the channel

that the active source player is connected

to.

The speaker selector is not set correctly.

Faulty connection within external

components or external component failure.

The power cord to the GIG STAR is not

plugged in.

Your TV does not have RCA style A/V input

jacks.

An open microphone or guitar is too close to

the output speakers.

Microphone or guitar volume is too high.

Excessive treble is applied.

The MP3/Photo-CD either has files that are

not standard-formatted, or the disc was not

standard-copied.

The antennas are not plugged in or they are

postitioned in a way that blocks the radio

frequency.

No audio output.

Unable to connect the GIG STAR to

my television monitor with the RCA

cable provided

There is a loud "squealing" noise

coming from the speakers.

An MP3 or Photo-CD does not play in

the GIG STAR.

The radio is not getting any signal or

the sound is very unclear.
