6. Programming Your Own Code

REMARK: The safe can be programmed with two sets of codes. After first opening and battery installation, program

two sets of codes overwriting the factory codes.

Programming the User Code

Open the door and press the RED button (b) (located on the inside of the door near

the hinge). The display (e) will show “SET CodE”.

Enter your code consisting of 3 to 8 figures. Confirm your code by pressing START.

You will hear a sound and see “IN” and your code on the display (e), meaning the

code has been accepted.

Programming the Master Code

Press the RED button (b) (located on the inside of the door near the hinge) and press START. The display will

show “oLd CodE”.

Enter the original master code (“8888”) and press START. The display (e) will show “SET”.

Enter your personal master code consisting of 3 to 8 figures and confirm by pressing START. The display (e) will

show “rE-InPUT”.

Re-enter your master code and confirm by pressing START.

You will hear a sound and see “IN” and your code on the display (e), meaning the code has been accepted.

If an incorrect code has been entered, a red LED (g) will light and you will see “Error” on the display (e). If an

incorrect code has been entered 4 times consecutively, the display (e) will show “Error” and buzz for 3 minutes. The

correct code cannot be entered during those 3 minutes. However, the door can be opened using the override keys.

To deactivate the buzzer (h), press the RED button (b) located on the inside of the door near the hinge.

If you do not want the display to show the code when opening the door, press START twice before entering the code.

7. Overriding Instructions

Your

SSE052 can be overridden using the included key.

Remove the plastic cover (d) on the front of the safe and insert the key into the lock.

Turn the key in an anticlockwise direction and turn the rotary knob (a) in a clockwise direction. Open the door.

8. Installing the Safe

To reduce the risk of theft, the safe can be secured to the floor, wall or in a cupboard. For your convenience, there

are 2 holes (Ø 8mm). Fix the safe by the supplied expansion bolts. Install the safe in a horizontal position on a solid

and secure surface.
