• If the Record/Play button is set to record position (up), the device
will start recording when switched on.
• If the Record/Play button is set to play position (down), the device
will display the main menu when switched on.
To start the device:
1.
Set the power switch button [15] to ON.
2. Set the mode you want with the Record/Play button [2].
3. Press and hold ►║ on the front panel to turn on the device.
Turning the device off
1.
Press and hold ►║ to turn off the device.
Locking the device
To lock the device, set the power switch button [15] to OFF.
Charging the battery
To charge the battery:
• Connect the device to your computer with the included USB cable.
• The device itself cannot be used while connected to your
computer.
First use: setting the device time
The files on the device will be listed by time order. It is
recommended to set the system time on first use. See below.
5.2 Recording audio or video
To record:
1.
Set the Audio/Video button on the side panel [3] to video (up)
or audio (down).
2. Set the Record/Play button [2] to record position (up).
3. Press and hold ►║ on the front panel.
The device will start recording.
To pause:
1.
While recording, press ►║ to pause recording.
The recording indicator starts flashing.
2. Press ►║ again to continue recording.
