BATTEST2 – MULTI-PURPOSE BATTERY TESTER WITH LCD DISPLAY

1. Introduction

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could harm

Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should be taken to a specialised

company for recycling.

This device should be returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service.

If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.

Thank you for buying the BATTEST2! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the

device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.

2. General Guidelines

Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer

will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

Do not use rechargeable batteries to power your BATTEST2.

Only test one battery at the time.

Do not modify or disassemble the device.

3. Use

To power the battery tester, remove the battery cap at the back of the device. Insert 1 x 1.5V AAA alkaline battery

respecting the polarity. Replace the battery cap.

Insert the battery you would like to test into the corresponding test channel (for CRV3, CR5 and CRP2 batteries,

9V, 3V and 1.5V button cells) or slot (CR2, CR123A, N, AA, AAA, C and D type batteries). Make sure the battery

is firmly placed respecting the polarity. The battery condition will be shown on the LCD display (see fig. below).

Remove the battery after checking.

REMARKS: Make sure the battery is correctly placed into the slot or the test channel. Remove the battery powering

the BATTEST2 when not in use to avoid battery leakage. Use a fresh alkaline battery to run the tester to

ensure accurate testing results.

Battery Condition

1 – 5 marks (POOR)

The battery is empty. Recharge a rechargeable battery or dispose of the battery
respecting the local rules.

6 – 10 marks (FAIR)

Battery with limited power but can still be used for a limited time.

11 – 18 marks (GOOD) Battery has adequate power.
