Description:
The Parapet Wall Vent is engineered for maximum
ventilation with pre-punched slots on the bottom along
with louvered face.
Fabricated from 24-gauge vinyl-coated metal
and pre-finished Galvalume
® 14” wide and 10”
tall with a 6” Duro-Last ® attached skirt.
Parapet vent provides 44.5 in 2 of net free area.
Parapet ventilation area for the attic area without
vapor retarder is 1 sf (ventilation)/150 sf of attic
area.
Parapet ventilation for new construction attic
area that provides a vapor retarder is 1 sf
(ventilation) / 300 sf of attic area. See the IBC
for ventilation requirements.

Installation:
1. Install in accordance with Duro-Last detail
drawings #6010 and #6015.
2. Any deviation from the requirements set forth in
the detail drawings must be pre-approved, in
writing, by the EXCEPTIONAL Metals Technical
Department.
Warranty:
Duro-Last offers a wide range of warranty coverage for
EXCEPTIONAL Metals products when used with the
Duro-Last roofing system, including paint and finish.
