Installation Instructions

1.

Assembly SmartArm™ by advancing both pieces equally
until threads are no longer visible.

2.

Changes Rear Camber ± 1 Degree

3.

Raise rear of vehicle and support body on jack stands.

4.

Remove tire and wheel assembly.

5.

Remove nut and bolt attaching parallel links to spindle.

6.

Remove nut and bolt attaching parallel links to rear
crossmember. Remove OE links.

NOTE: Some models may require lowering the suspension cross-
member to allow bolts to clear the fuel tank.

7.

The New Link will replace the OE front arm. Install
crossmember bolt from the front through the new arm,
crossmember and rear link. Install and tighten nut.

8.

Install links to spindle with the head of the spindle bolt
toward the front of vehicle and install nut.

9.

Torque parallel link nuts to 65-87 ft. lbs. (88-118 N.M.)

10. Replace tire and wheel assembly.
11. Adjust rear camber by loosening jam nuts and lengthen

ing or shortening the links equal amounts. DO NOT
exceed more than 3/4" of exposed threads on either side
of bolt.

12. Adjust toe-in by lengthening the rear link and shortening

the front link.

13. Adjust toe-out by lengthening the front link and

shortening the rear link.

14. Tighten all jam nuts & continue alignment.

option replace at no charge, components that prove to be defective. The product must be returned,

including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness, or adequacy for any
particular purpose or use Ingalls shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential
damages whether in contract, tort, or otherwise resulting from the use of or the inability to use the
product.

Use of this product in competition, or use on vehicles altered from original manufacturer's specifica-
tions or settings, EXPRESSLY VOIDS WARRANTY. The user is urged to inspect for suspension binding
or interference when the product is used in these manners. However, due to the varying conditions and
manner of use which the priduct will be subjected to in such uses, Ingalls Engineering Co., Inc. makes
no warranties, either express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose for use in competition or with specifications or setting other than those specified by
the original manufacturer's specifications.

To minimize possible noises characteristic of polyurethane
bushings, always lube before installation. To avoid inherent
polyurethane noises use the rubber bushing version.
