1.3.1 Product Highlights
With the SiS ® 648FX chipset, the motherboard supports 800MHz front side bus
and the Intel ® Prescott CPU. In addition to supporting high-bandwidth DDR400,
unique MuTIOL technology increases the bus speed between the northbridge and
southbridge to 1GB/sec for enhanced system performance.

Leveraging the SiS ® 648FX chipset to support 3.2 GHz+ P4 CPU on 800MHz FSB,
Intel ® Hyper-Threading technology and DDR400 memory makes the motherboard
deliver a full-value, high-performance solution for today’s most demanding tasks.
DDR 400 (PC3200) Support
DDR400 (PC3200) supports bandwidth up to 3.2 GB/s to provide enhanced
system performance.
AGP 8X support
AGP 8X (AGP 3.0) is the VGA interface specification that enables enhanced
graphics performance with maximum bandwidth speeds of up to 2.12 GB/s.
6 USB 2.0 ports
The motherboard implements the new Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0
specification, extending the connection speed from 12 Mbps on USB 1.1 to a fast
480 Mbps on USB 2.0 - supporting up to six USB 2.0 ports. The higher bandwidth
of USB 2.0 allows connection of devices such as high resolution video
conferencing cameras, next generation scanners and printers, and fast storage
units. USB 2.0 is backward compatible with USB 1.1.
MuTIOL Technology
The motherboard supports high-bandwidth DDR400 and unique MuTIOL
technology that increases the bus speed between the northbridge and southbridge
to 1GB/s.
S/PDIF out
The motherboard’s S/PDIF out function turns your computer into a high-end
entertainment system with digital connectivity to powerful speaker systems.
