Remove the valve body from the piston actuator.
The plug is now in the upper position.
This means the gasket will not be damaged.

Weld the valve body.
Clean the valve body carefully.
ReCoMMendatIon
Mount the valve body with a new sealing ring bet-
ween the valve body and the piston actuator.
Turn the lower switch back into the idle position.
The piston actuator is bled and the spring closes the
valve.
note This procedure causes air to be trapped under the spring-loaded piston.
Normally the air will escape slowly.
After 10 hours, however, this procedure should be completed.
