KIT COMPONENTS

#40 Needles (Pkg. of 5 w/Allen Wrench)

FOR USE IN ALL LARGE CONDUIT 1 1/4" THRU 6"

GUNSLINGER (Figure 1) is a rugged, positive action, compact
hand tool, especially designed and constructed for releasing a
cartridge filled with CO2 under pressure. This self-propelled
cartridge, when launched into a conduit, works its way up,
down, and around bends, laying a strong nylon line as it goes.
Suitable for runs up to 250 feet. Longer runs may be accom-
plished by shooting from both ends. Use nylon line to put JET
LINE poly rope or PL232 pull rope through conduit in minutes.
Jet Line's GUNSLINGER works well in any type conduit; metal,
fibre, plastic. Air leaks in the conduit run will not affect the per-
formance of the JO21112 GUNSLINGER.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR GUNSLINGER

CO2 cartridges are sensitive to heat–do not expose to high
temperatures above 200° F. When firing in cold weather, warm
the cartridge in the palm of your hand for maximum travel.
Cartridges work best at 70° to 90° F.

When using Pull Line LP1703, pull gun back slightly after firing
cartridge to allow line to feed in straight without binding.

On long runs where the cartridge cannot go through in one
direction launch two cartridges from opposite ends of the run.
This allows lines to tangle while in motion, making a strong,
firm tangle-splice in the pipe. If mud or moisture are known to
exist, the cartridge will not penetrate the blockage.

YOUR GUNSLINGER CAN BE USED WITH LINE PACKAGES
OR BULK NYLON LINE OR BOTH TOGETHER. PLEASE
READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FIRING
YOUR GUNSLINGER.
