Note: If you already have SQL Server, SQL Express, or MSDE installed on
your machine, the installation wizard will detect it and will not install SQL
Express. It will install the workstation application and the database.

The Destination Location window appears. By default, IntelliTrack
WMS will be installed in C:\Program Files\Intelli-
Track\WMS. If you want to change the default location, click the
Browse button and navigate to the desired location. When the location
is correct, click Next to continue.

The Backup Replaced Files window appears. It asks you if you want to
create backups of all files replaced during the installation. These files
will be used when the software is uninstalled and a rollback is
requested.
• Select No if you do not want to create backups of all files
• Select Yes to create backups of all files
• If you select Yes, the Backup File Destination Directory portion of

the window becomes enabled. The default backup file destination
directory is placed in the IntelliTrack WMS directory. If you want to
place the backup directory somewhere else, click the Browse button
and navigate to the network location in which you want to place the
backup directory.

• When you are ready to continue, click Next.

The MSDE/SQL Server Information window appears. MSDE or SQL
Server is an application that manages and runs your IntelliTrack data-
base.
If you are upgrading to v7.x from a previous version, are using the
Windows XP operating system, and are using MSDE, IntelliTrack
WMS will continue to use MSDE to run the database.
If you are upgrading to v7.x from a previous version and are using the
Windows Vista operating system, the system will install SQL Express
if it does not detect a full version of SQL Server on your system.
If this is a new installation, IntelliTrack WMS will use SQL Server. If it
doesn’t detect SQL Server on your system, it will install SQL Express.
Enter the server name and location, database name, and server login
information in this window:
