First, start with the power:

The power switch is
on the under carriage, right side.
You’ll see the switch,
the indicator light,
and reset button.

Using your footrest:

If you’re working standing up, you can
swing out this footrest to alleviate
pressure on your lower back. When
you’re done, just swing it back towards
the table leg.

Some safety considerations:

Carl’s Table has collision avoidance
mechanisms below the coffee surface,
the CPU holder, and the work surface. The
table will stop if it encounters an obstacle
while tilting or moving downwards. Avoid
touching moving parts when the table is
in motion. Also, for your own safety, do
not sit on top of the workstation.

Adjusting your lighting:

When Carl’s Table is on, you have the
choice between using an Automatic
or Manual lighting system.

Auto

When in “Auto” mode, the workstation
adjusts the light for you automatically.

The lighting sensor maintains an
appropriate contrast ratio between the
image on the monitor and the surrounding
light. The sensor is on the end of a
gooseneck and can be adjusted as needed.
Make sure the sensor is unobstructed so
it can take a proper reading.

Manual

When in “Manual” mode, the dimmer
knobs for the Task Lights and Back Light
become active. Turn these knobs to control
the brightness of these lights individually.

Adjusting your table height:

Carl’s Table has a motorized height
adjustment from 28” to 48” so you can
work sitting or standing with just the
touch of a button.

Changing your table angle:

Carl’s Table lets you electrically tilt the
main work surface up to 15° so you can
maintain this healthy position even as
you recline.

Cleaning the Mouse Pad

The unisuede pad on the Carl’s Table work surface is stain resistant.

Most stains can be removed with water and a mild detergent. When

needed, use a mild cleaning fluid.
