4.6.1 Operations table
Figure 10 illustrates the Operations table, which lists individual operations within a task and
provides the status of the entire operation as it starts and completes on each target. The important
thing to know is that operation status represents the status of the operation on every target.
Reporting operation status by job means this: if an operation is complete on 15 targets but is not
started on 5 targets, the overall status of that operation is Pending because it is not complete on
all 20 targets.
Similarly, if an operation within a task is successful on 19 out of 20 targets but fails on 1 target,
the overall status for the operation is Failed.
