Predictive failure alerts are generated by system management software and occur only when the
enclosure is connected to a Smart Array controller. The Network Storage System controller is a Smart
Array controller.
Power supply LEDs
This enclosure supports hot-plug redundant power supply in a 1+1 configuration. This means that the
enclosure requires one power supply to operate and the second power supply performs a redundant
function.
