To display detailed information about volume groups, use the ibrix_vg -i command. The -g
VGLIST

option restricts the output to the specified volume groups.

<installdirectory>/bin/ibrix_vg -i [-g VGLIST]

The following table lists the output fields for ibrix_vg -i.

Description

Field

Volume group name.

Name

Volume group size in MB.

Size (MB)

Free (unallocated) space, in MB, available on this volume group.

Free (MB)

Percentage of total space in the volume group allocated to logical volumes.

Used (percentage)

File system to which this logical volume belongs.

File System Name

Name of the physical volume used to create this volume group.

Physical Volume Name

Size, in MB, of the physical volume used to create this volume group.

Physical Volume Size

Names of logical volumes created from this volume group.

Logical Volume Name

Size, in MB, of each logical volume created from this volume group.

Logical Volume Size

Number of times the structure of the file system has changed (for example, new segments
were added).

File System Generation

Number of this segment (logical volume) in the file system.

Segment Number

File serving node that owns this logical volume.

Host Name

Operational state of the file serving node. See the administration guide for your system for
a list of the states.

Viewing logical volume information

To view information about logical volumes, use the ibrix_lv -l command:

<installdirectory>/bin/ibrix_lv -l

The following table lists the output fields for ibrix_lv -l.

Logical volume name.

LV_NAME

Logical volume size, in MB.

LV_SIZE

File system to which this logical volume belongs.

FS_NAME

Number of this segment (logical volume) in the file system.

SEG_NUM

Name of the volume group created on this physical volume, if any.

VG_NAME

Linux lvcreate options that have been set on the volume group.

Viewing file system information

To view information about all file systems, use the ibrix_fs -l command. This command also
displays information about any file system snapshots.

<installdirectory>/bin/ibrix_fs -l
