Step 5: Install the supplied 8-32 set screws through the retain-

ing brackets and hand tighten against the oval washer.
See Photo 5

Step 6: Using a cross pattern, gently tighten the 8-32 set screws

until the taillight has been drawn to the body panel.
Warning: Do not over tighten to avoid damage to paint.

Stop! Please read all installation instructions before

beginning installation. Call Lokar for any questions or

uncertainties during installation.

WARNING: Disconnect battery before beginning instal-

lation. Make sure vehicle is in Park. Be sure that the

vehicle’s parking brake is set and scotched to avoid

movement of the vehicle.

IMpoRtANt: Before beginning any cutting, be sure

there is adequate clearance behind the body panel for

the installation of the taillight.

Chromed Billet Oval LED Taillights Installation

NOTE: The taillight is shipped fully assembled for Quality

Control.

DO NOT REmOvE the back plate as parts may

be lost.

Step 1: Using the provided template, layout and cut an

opening in the desired location.

See Photo 1

Note: It is crucial that the opening not be oversized to
ensure proper fit.

Step 2: Insert the taillight carefully through the opening.

Step 3: Install the oval washer around the taillight.

Step 4: Install the two retaining brackets using the supplied

6-32 socket head allen bolts.

Step 7: Install supplied 8-32 jam nuts onto set screws and

tighten.

See Photo 6

Step 8: Wire taillights into 12 volt system.

Note: Due to low current draw of LED lights,
some vehicles may require a “No Load Flasher”.

GREEN = Brake wire (turn signals controlled by turn signal switch)

YELLoW = Taillight wire (running lights)

BLACK = Connect to a GOOD chassis ground
