Stop! Please read all installation instructions before
beginning installation. Call Lokar for any questions or
uncertainties during the installation.
WARNING: Disconnect battery before beginning
installation. Make sure vehicle is in Park. Before
making adjustments and taking shifter out of gear,
be sure that the vehicle’s parking brake is set and
scotched to avoid movement of the vehicle.
Throttle & Kickdown Bracket Installation
Step 1: Remove Pro-Flo throttle body from intake manifold.
Install Lokar aluminum spacer with a gasket on both
sides. Reinstall throttle body.

Step 2: Install billet aluminum main bracket to throttle body
spacer using the supplied two spacers and
1/4-20 x 1 3/4 flat head screws.

Step 3: Install throttle ball into the top furthest forward hole in
throttle arm. (See photo 3)
Step 4: Install spring return tab. The spring tab must be
mounted on the backside of the throttle arm or it will
interfere with the secondary arm. Use the hex carb fit-
ting to attach the spring tab. (If a kickdown cable is
not being used, use the 1/4-28 x 1/2 button head and
1/4-28 nylock nut supplied) Tighten this tab until there
is no movement. Then loosen stud enough so that the
tab swings freely.

Step 5: Install throttle and kickdown cable. This bracket is
designed to work with a Lokar throttle cable and
kickdown cable. Please refer to throttle and kickdown
installation instructions.
