General Installation Notes:

Please read instructions completely before beginning installation. If
you have any questions please call.

Before starting installation, scotch vehicle tires to avoid accidental
movement of the vehicle. Do not attempt to install this product while
the engine is running. Disconnect negative battery cable before begin-
ning installation.

Make sure the engine, transmission, body and frame are properly
grounded. We recommend applying anti-seize lubricant to all alumi-
num threads before final assembly.

Refer to Fig. 1 for the component names.

Step 1: The original pedal is attached to the pedal position sensor arm

with a steel pin that is pressed into the left side of the original
pedal. Remove this pin by pushing it out from the right side of
the pedal using a press or a hammer and punch.

Step 2: There is also a spring-loaded pin in the original pedal that fits

into a notch in the pedal position sensor arm. Depress the spring
loaded pin from the left side of the pedal using a punch, a
small screwdriver, or the pin you just removed in

Step 1. With

the spring-loaded pin depressed, pull up on the bottom of the
original pedal until the sensor arm catches the spring-loaded pin.
Then remove your tool, and rotate the original pedal off of the
pedal position sensor arm.

arm so that the lower holes line up, and the upper screw hole in
the pedal base lines up with the notch in the pedal position sen-
sor arm.
