General Installation Notes:
Please read instructions completely before beginning installation. If you
have any questions please call.
Before starting installation, scotch vehicle tires to avoid accidental
movement of the vehicle. Disconnect negative battery cable before
beginning installation.
Make sure the engine, transmission, and frame are properly grounded.
We recommend applying anti-seize lubricant to all aluminum threads
before final assembly.
This bracket is designed for use with a
Lokar Throttle Cable (not included) and/or
Kickdown Cable (not included). The engine
must have a Mustang EGR spacer (not
included) in order to install this bracket.
The EFI bracket does not fit with B.A.P.
throttle bodies.
Refer to Fig. 1 for the component names.
Step 1: If there is an existing throttle
cable and/or throttle cable bracket
installed, disconnect the throttle
cable and remove the throttle
cable bracket from the engine.
Step 2: Using your original bolts, attach
the new throttle cable bracket
to the original location on the
Mustang EGR spacer.
Step 3: Proceed with the installation of
the Lokar throttle cable and or
kickdown cable, following the
instructions that come with
those kits.
