Performing the Measurement
The humidity of the hole reaches equilibrium with the humidity of the
concrete approximately in three days. Before this, you cannot obtain
reliable measurements.
1. If the probe has not been left to stabilize inside the tube:
a.
Remove the rubber plug from the tube.
b. Insert the HMP40S probe in the tube.
c. Seal the tube with the rubber plug on the cable.
2. Connect the probe to the HM40 indicator.
3. Turn on the HM40 indicator.
4. Switch to RH quantity.
5. Switch to graph view and verify that the readings are stable. If you
inserted the probe in step 1, wait for at least 30 minutes before
continuing to the next step.
6. Write down the measured RH value. You can also press the Hold
button tag the point.
7. Turn off the HM40 and disconnect the cable.
8. If you do not wish to leave the probe into the tube, remove the
probe and close the tube with the rubber plug.
