WARNING: These products may represent a possible shock or fire hazard if improperly installed or attached in

any way. Products should be installed in accordance with these instructions, and with current electrical codes

and/or the current National Electric Code (NEC).
Warning: To avoid electric shock, disconnect power prior to installation.

Caution: Injury to persons and damage to the fixture and/or mounting surface may result if the fixture is pulled

from the surface. To reduce the likelihood of such injury or damage, mount on a surface that is mechanically

sound.

Use only a mild soap and/or water with soft cloth to clean the fixture.

Harsh chemicals will damage the fixture. Do not wipe the fixture with

a rough cloth that may scratch the finish or the lens.

Save these instructions.

Use only with the power supply provided within the fixture. Any

alteration of the fixture, including, but not limited to, use with

another power supply, will void the warranty.

If your system has no ground wire, you should consult a qualified electrician before
proceeding with the installation.

Unpack the fixture and inspect the lead wires for any damage. If there is any damage
to the cord, do not install.

Input: 120V AC, 60Hz operation only

Recess mount installation:

NOTE: For best results use the 2x2 recessed fixture in a lay-in tile ceiling

with a 2’ by 2’ grid (or a 2’ by 4’ grid ceiling that can be adapted to a 2’ x 2’ grid).

Any other ceiling type will likely become labor intensive/prohibitive.

NOTE: Use minimum 18AWG solid copper wires. AC supply should be 120V

protected by circuit breaker or fuse.

1. Remove the 2’ x 2’ lay-in tile where the fixture will be installed.

2. Confirm the supply power is shut off at main.

3. Remove the wiring compartment cover on the back of the fixture by sliding cover toward

corner of fixture until retaining tabs are released, then lifting off. See Figure 1.

4. Punch out one of the knockouts on the wiring compartment cover and install a 1/2”

standard cable connector/strain relief clamp (not supplied with fixture, see Figure 2)

or other UL approved strain relief connector onto this knockout.

5. Prepare supply wires by stripping back to 3/8”. Pull enough length to reach through

wiring compartment cover/knockout assembly. Bring all wires into the wiring compartment

so that the strain relief catches onto the sheathing (not the individual wires’ jackets).

6. Attach the supply wire ground and the fixture’s ground wire to the underside of the wiring

compartment cover using the ground screw provided. See Figure 3.

7. Attach line voltage AC supply wires to fixture lead wires: Black to Black, White to White.

Secure connections using UL Listed wire nuts or quick connectors.

8. Replace cover of wiring compartment. Be sure that the wires are not

pinched or damaged by any part of the housing or cover. See Figure 4.
