VI. MAINTENANCE:

Restoring factory settings to front panel pots:
1. Input a 0dBu (0.775 volts) 1 kilohertz sine wave signal into the rear panel channel terminal block

for the channel to be adjusted.

2. Set the rear panel selector switch for that channel to the switches midposition.
3. Adjust the front panel pot for that channel so that the 0dB LED for that channel just lights.

Restoring factory settings to LINE OUT TRIM, RV901:
1. Input a 0dBu (0.775 volts) 1 kilohertz sine wave signal into the rear panel channel terminal block

for the a channel that has been adjusted per the procedure above.

2. Adjust RV901 for a 0dBu signal at TB901 with the signal terminated into a 600 ohm resistor.

Restoring factory settings of RV902:
1. Input a 0dBu (0.775 volts) 1 kilohertz sine wave signal into the rear panel channel terminal block

for the a channel that has been adjusted per the procedure above.

2. Turn the speaker off with the front panel speaker switch.
3. Set the Digital Volume Control to maximum by pressing and holding the “UP” front panel pushbutton

for 3 seconds,

4. Using the front panel jack and an oscilloscope, adjust RV902 so that the signal just clips, then back

off the setting so the signal isn’t clipped or distorted.

Cleaning Front Panel: Using a cloth dampened with distilled water (solvents and soap are not recom-

mended), lightly clean the front panel being careful to avoid scubbing the silkscreen lettering from the

chassis. Do not allow water into the speaker or pot adjustment holes.
