How to use the balance plate:
The Vocas Rail support for DSLR comes with an integrated balance plate.
This balance plate allows the user to precisely calibrate the centre of gravity of
the camera setup when mounting it on a tripod. Because the balance plate can
move freely along the rails there are many different setups possible.
Some examples are the following:
Left of the clamping block Centrally placed Right of the clamping block
To create more room for a follow focus when using a short lens another optional
setup is reversing the entire support so there is more room at the front of the
camera:
Reversed for short lenses
