Edit Your Route with Rubber-Band Routing
To edit your route by using rubber-band routing:
1. Touch a point along the existing route line and drag your
finger to the point that you want to add to the route.
2. After you release your finger, select the action that you
want to perform.
Create User-Defined Waypoints
You can name, add comments, save, and search for user-defined
waypoints.
To create a user-defined waypoint:
1. Touch, hold, and release the map in the area where you
want to insert a waypoint.
Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro places a waypoint on the map and
displays the New Waypoint popover.
2. Tap Save Waypoint.
• To name the waypoint, tap in the Name field and enter a
name.
NOTE Waypoint names can include spaces, but cannot
include periods or any special characters. For example, do not
use any of these characters:
] [ ? / < ~ # ` ! @ $ % ^ & * ( ) + = } | : " ; ' , > {.
• To enter comments, tap in the Comments field and enter
comments that you want to associate with the waypoint.
3. Tap the Done button at the top of the popover when you
finish.
