What is the Data Manager?
The Data Manager (System Menu | Data Manager) is a utility designed to provide
an overview of some of the variable components of Jeppesen Workboat Navigator.
These include user-created objects, such as Marks, Routes, etc. and information
pertinent to your version of Jeppesen Workboat Navigator, such as your Chart
Permits and available charts.
Data properties, such as item name and location can be reviewed and edited from
this utility. You can also choose which Charts are available for use in the Chart
window pane from this utility.
The Data Manager is divided into two panes: Data Collection and Data Details. The
Data Collection has three different selections: Nav Objects, Charts and System Info.
Use the Data Manager to manage these objects from one location. This utility is
useful when you want to rename objects, such as Marks, or select which Charts
to use in a given location. The Data Manager is divided into two panes: Data
Collection and Data Details. To exit Data Manager, click Done or press
L .
Data Collection
The Data Collection, on the left-hand side of the window, contains a drop-down list
of all available data you can review or edit. You can also import and export Nav
Objects from the Data Collection drop-down list.
Data Collection types available are: Nav Objects, Charts, and System Information.
