with a damp soft cloth and warm soapy water (see Care and Cleaning).

Assembling the Juicer

CauTion:

Before you plug in the juicer, always ensure that the appliance is assembled cor-

rectly and, that there are no foreign objects in the filter basket or juice container.

1.

Lift off the dust cover.

2.

Unwrap the power cord from the cord storage under the bottom of the motor base. Place the

appliance on a sufficient surface (see Safeguards for Daily Operation).
3.

Place the juice container on the motor base. The spout settles in the cut out of the motor base.

4.

Insert the filter basket in the juice container. The upper edge of the filter basket may not pro-

trude the brim of the juice container and the rotor shaft sticks out of the centre of the filter basket.
5.

Place the juice cone on the rotor shaft.

important: If food dried on the rotor shaft or in the interior of the juice cone, you may find it

difficult to mount the juice cone. Do not use any violence, but clean the surfaces of the rotor shaft

and juice cone first, before assembling the appliance (see Care and Cleaning).
CauTion:

Do not use any hard or sharp utensils or abrasive cleaners for cleaning. Handle

with care to avoid damage.
With the juice cone installed, the appliance is ready for use.

Operating the citrus juicer

important:

During operation, pulp builds up in the filter basket. Do not allow the filter basket

or juice container to overfill. Otherwise, the juice will not be sufficiently separated from the pulp.

If you process a large amount of fruit, regularly interrupt juicing and unplug the appliance to let

the motor cool down and to empty the filter basket. Ensure, that the spout will not block during

operation. Do not leave any food dry on the appliance or any parts of the appliance.
