Bill Trap
Installation Instructions

The 3555 Series Bill Trap is a dry contact that draws no
power and is wireless compatible.
To install the unit, clean both the underside of the Bill Trap
and the bottom of the cash register drawer or tray with
alcohol. Adhere the Bill Trap to the appropriate surface
with the adhesive tape provided. Run the switch leads out
the back of the cash register drawer by drilling a 1/4" hole
and attaching the leads to a service loop. Or, the leads may
run over the top of the drawer, depending on the amount of
clearance.
Warning:
Do not overextend the lid by more than one inch. Doing
so may cause the Bill Trap to malfunction.

Special Instructions for Mounting the Bill Trap
on Steel
The performance of the Bill Trap may be adversely
affected if the unit is mounted on steel. For this reason,
two additonal strips of double-sided tape have been
included. If you experience difficulties when mounting
your Bill Trap on steel, apply these two pieces of double-
sided tape onto the existing tape prior to mounting.
