2. Scroll through the menus with the button until this menu appears:

5. To connect it to the DVR, press the zone button and enter the ID number of
the DVR. The default value is “1”.
6. To configure the DVR zone ID number, at the DVR enter the Monitor screen
by selecting Display Mode Settings in the main menu and select Monitor.
Under Zone ID, enter the zone ID value. The default value is “1”.
Note: The zone ID value must be identical for the DVR and keypad.
The DVR is now connected to the KTD-405 keypad.
DVR and keypad functions
The KTD-405U acts as a DVR control keypad when connected to the DVR. The
keypad mimics many of the functions available from the front panel of the DVR.
Unavailable DVR functions
The following TVR 11 functions are unavailable when using the keypad to control
the DVR:
 Export video
 Shadow tour
 Select motion detection or tampering zones
 Archive records
 Capture video
If these functions are required, it is recommended to use a mouse in conjunction
with the keypad as all DVR functions will then be available.
