Restore a Found Credential

1.

Select Access Management > Persons.

2.

Select the Person with the credential to be deactivated.

3.

Click [Credentials].

4.

Click the credential to be reactivated.

5.

Clear the Active To field.

6.

Click [Accept Changes].

Managing User Accounts

User accounts allow people to log into the System. A user account is associated with a person
database record, just as a credential is. However, a person does not need to have a user account in
order to have access to the facility with a credential.

Add a User Account

Before adding a user account for a person, first create a record for that person. See

Add a Person

on

page 65.

1.

Log in as an Administrator or Dealer. (The other operator roles do not have permission to modify
user accounts.)

2.

Select Access Management > Persons.

3.

Select the person to modify.

4.

Click the User Account tab.

5.

Select Can log on.

6.

Type a User Name.

7.

Click [Set Password].

8.

Type the new password in the Enter new password and Confirm password fields.

9.

Click [OK].

10.

Select a Role.

11.

Click [Accept Changes].

Change a User Name and Password

1.

Log in as an Administrator or Dealer. (The other operator roles do not have permission to modify
user accounts.)

2.

Select Access Management > Persons.

3.

Select the person to modify.

4.

Click the User Account tab.

5.

Type a new User Name.

6.

Click [Set Password].

7.

Type the new password in the Enter new password and Confirm password fields.
