L8

Project Your Best Image

With up to 7700 ANSI lumens brightness (maximum), Christie’s L8 delivers

brilliant images for multiple application environments including fixed

installations, rental staging, business presentations and large venues.

Users can take advantage of the L8's quad lamp system to project in

either 7700 or 3850 ANSI lumens brightness mode to conserve on lamp

usage. As well, lamp usage can be monitored, allowing for easy

administration and lamp management. And, in the unlikely event that

not one or two, but three lamps fail, the quad lamp system ensures the

L8 remains operational – virtually guaranteeing your presentation

continues without interruption.

The L8 is compatible with the full array of video and data inputs and

as a Christie projector, it is designed for the digital age. The L8 uses a

Digital Visual Interface (DVI) that eliminates picture noise and signal

degradation. With progressive scan video decoding with a 2:3 pull-down,

there is highly improved playback of moving images. Real Color Manager

software enables users to target and match the displayed color to specific

gamma curves and reference monitors for real-life images. The perfect

picture can be perfectly positioned using the L8's enhanced motorized

lens system, for vertical and horizontal image shift, digital focus, zoom

and keystone facilities.

The RoadRunner series is supported by an extensive suite of short,

medium, long, fixed and zoom lenses (optional) and can be relied upon to

meet the rigours of most staging environments. The robust Fast Lens

Change (FLC™) mount provides no-fuss lens changes that are fast and

easy to set-up. Furthermore, presentation features such as digital

magnification, picture freeze and ‘no-show’ mode can be used to add that

extra bit of showmanship for any event.
