9. Slide base plate up from bottom and line up tight
against front frame bracket as shown in picture.
Clamp in place.
10. Center punch all eight holes (four on each side) and
drill 3/8 ” holes through frame lip, using base plate
as template.
11. Install eight 3/8 ” x 1-1/4 ” bolts, 3/8 ” lock washers,
and 3/8 ” hex nuts. Install bolts from inside outwards.
We require that “
R
Blue” be used on all
bolts.
12. Remove one front sub-frame bolt from each side, for
bottom brace (see picture). Install long end of brace
and refasten long sub-frame bolt. On other end of
brace, use 1/2
” x 1-1/4 ” bolt, 1/2 ” lock washer, and
1/2 ” hex nut through brace and base plate. Tighten
these bolts. Do this on both sides.
13. Drill 3/8 ” hole through brace and sub-frame lip. Install
3/8 ” x 1-1/4 bolt, 3/8 ” lock washer, and 3/8 ” hex nut
through this drilled hole and tighten. Do this on both
sides.
14. Reinstall facia and previously removed hardware.
