Installation of Cards
The H192 has two types of splitter cards available: North American ADSL (NA-2820) &
North American VDSL2 (NA-2820V). Up to 8 cards can be installed in each shelf. It is
not recommended to mix the two card types in a single shelf.
To install, align the space between the two PCBs, on the splitter card, with the card
guides on the shelf. When the card’s gold fingers reaches the rear connectors, ensure
the inserters/ejector mates with the rectangular opening on the bottom of the shelf.
Connector Pinouts
As viewed from the front of the shelf:
• Using 24 pair telephone cables, 24 high speed xDSL signals to and from the DSLAM enter the H192 splitter
shelf using the DSL connector on each face plate.
As viewed from the rear of the shelf:
• Using 24 pair telephone cables, signals to and from the central office switch enter the H192 splitter shelf using
the right-hand PSTN connectors.
• Using 24 pair telephone cables, signals to and from the subscriber location enter the H192 splitter shelf via the
left LINE connectors.

Warranty
The Model H192 Splitter Shelf is covered by a 5-year warranty under normal operating conditions. Defective units
should be returned to Comtest Networks where they will be replaced or repaired and returned to the user.
