• When you purchase or rent a DivX® file through the official site

of DivX® Video-On-Demand (VOD) services, the unit registration
code is required. For details, see “DivX Registration” (

vpage 39).

• A DivX® VOD file recorded with a different code from the unit

registration code cannot be played back.

• Some DivX® VOD files are restricted to a certain number of

playable times. If your DivX® VOD file has such a limit, the number
of playable times is displayed on the DivX® VOD display screen.

• Use

to select “Yes” if you want to play a file, or to select

“No” if you do not want to play it. Then, press

ENTER

to confirm

the selection.

• JPEG pictures recorded in the progressive system cannot be displayed.
• Variable Bit Rate (VBR) is not supported (when playback is possible, the time display in the display window will speed up and slow down).
