IZCLOUD VEHICLE TRACKING & PARKING MANAGEMENT SaaS

Increase Campus Security & Automate Access to The University Parking with IZCloud ALPR

Traffic & Parking Management System!

By using vehicle license plates as a credential IZCoud, seamlessly controls vehicle flow through

the parking entrance and exit gates for the students, faculty, visitors, and vendors.

IZCloud enables campus administrators to control parking and facility
entrances/exits using license plates as driver’s identification.

Vehicle information is stored in INEX’s cloud-based IZCloud Vehicle
Management Software, which communicates with ALPR cameras in-
stalled at the entrances and exits. As a vehicle approaches an entrance,
its license plate is instantly recognized by the ALPR camera. If there
is a gate and the access for this license plate is enabled, the camera
sends a signal to open the gate. If not, the gate will not open, and the
system will send a notification message to the operator. Since the gate
is controlled by the license plate readers, allowed vehicles can pass
through without stopping at the gate (free-flow entry). System admin-
istrators can manage member lists via a simple web interface.
The system offers a number of flexible features. For example, it is pos-
sible to configure the system to not open gates for student or vendor
vehicles if they are at the faculty parking entrance. If there is no gate
and the license plate is not on the list of allowed vehicles, the operator
will be notified of the violation with event information, such as license

plate number, entrance/exit point, date/time of entrance and exit, and
supporting pictures. As an added feature, all university staff can cre-
ate their own accounts and manage their vehicle license plates by
logging in to the same system.

LP - based parking permit lists management for faculty and staff is
just one of the many features available. Users can provide an unlim-
ited number of license plates and assign access rights (garage A or B;
semester or evening-only; date/time, etc.). Students and their family
members, faculty, and vendors will be notified via e-mail that they are
on the list. University vendors’ and employees’ license plates can be
added to the list for a specific parking garage either manually (typed
in; import/export; by simply selecting an “add to list” feature) or auto-
matically by using an “enrollment mode.” System administrators can
enforce parking lot rules, such as limiting vendors’ access to daytime
hours or to on-campus residents, as well as opening gates to emer-
gency vehicles via an “open gates” software button.
