“NEF (RAW) processing” is used to save NEF (RAW) photos in
other formats, such as JPEG. JPEG copies of NEF (RAW) photos
can be created on the camera as described below.

in the retouch menu.
Highlight [ NEF (RAW) processing ]
and press 2 .
