MAINTENANCE

WARNING

After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure that

all attaching hardware is tightened securely - otherwise, injury or damage

may occur.

CAUTION

DO NOT overtighten hardware attaching to the frame. This could cause

damage to the frame.
When storing scooter for prolonged periods of time, remove batteries.

Refer to REPLACING THE BATTERIES in SECTION 8 of this manual.

After reinstallation, always recharge batteries before use. Refer to

CHARGING THE BATTERIES in SECTION 8 of this manual.
Use care in storage. DO NOT allow any metallic objects to contact the

exposed terminals.

SUGGESTED MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES

1. Before using the powered scooter, make sure all nuts and bolts are tight. Check any

parts for damage or wear and replace. Check all parts for proper adjustment.

2. Ensure that batteries are properly maintained and charged as required (SECTION 8).
3. Inspect brake for proper operation (SECTION 3).
