The Human Interface Design (HID) profile is
supported only from keyboard input.

Headset supports use of a compatible
Bluetooth headset for mono voice.

Handsfree supports Bluetooth headsets, and
may also support other installed compatible
Bluetooth devices with speakerphone
capabilities, such as car kits or a conference

Dial Up Networking allows the phone to be
used as a data modem with a compatible
Bluetooth device, such as a laptop or PDA,
over the VZW National Access and / or VZW
Broadband Access systems.

Stereo supports delivery of stereo audio to a
compatible Bluetooth device.
●
Object Push Profile allows you to transfer a
contact entry (vCard) and/or transfer a
calendar event (vCal) to another OPP-
enabled Bluetooth device.
●
Image transfer of user generated content is
available via the Basic Imaging Profile.
This profile allows sending of non-protected
images to a compatible device for storing and
printing.
●
Phonebook Access Profile allows your car kit
and your phone to share information. By
pairing the devices and connecting with this
profile, you can access and use your phone
book data while in your vehicle.

File Transfer allows sending or receiving non-
protected data files to a compatible Bluetooth
device.
●
Basic Print Profile is a profile to transfer user-
generated images to a printer and print them
out.
3.1 Add New Device
Pairing is the process that allows
the handset to locate, establish,
and register 1-to-1 connection with
the target device.
1. Unlock the screen by touching
or pressing the Unlock Key
(
) on the left side of your
phone, then touch Menu
to
access the menu.
2. Touch the Settings & Tools icon
.
3. Touch Bluetooth Menu.
4. Touch ADD.
Set the desired device to pairing.
5. If Bluetooth
®
power is set to off,
you will be prompted to turn
power on. Touch Yes to turn the
Bluetooth power on.
6. Touch START to begin searching.
7. The device will appear in Add
New Device menu once it has
been located. Touch the device.
