Programmed playback - DVDs
Use the following procedure to play DVDs in a desired order. Up to 24 steps can
be programmed.
Remote control unit only

Press the PROGRAM button.
The program screen appears.

Use the cursor buttons (
2/3)
to select “Program Chapter”
or “Program Title”.

Press the cursor button (
∞) to move to
the program input/editing window.
To change the number of the title to be
programmed at the “Program Chapter”
screen, press the cursor button (
5) while
at the top step of the program input/editing
window, then press the number buttons
while pressing the SHIFT button to specify
the desired title.

Notes:
• Programmed playback is not possible
during PBC playback on video CDs.
• Scenes from chapters that are not
programmed may appear when the
chapter switches, but this is not a
malfunction.
• Programming is not possible with some
DVDs. In this case the
mark appears
on the screen.
• When programming chapters, only
chapters within the same title can be
programmed.
