PTY Search (Only for Europe)
You can search for stations by programme type.
This function is available only on RDS services of FM
waveband in Europe.
1 Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select
“TUNER FM”.
2 Press and hold the RDS button for more than 3
seconds.
“RDS PROGRAM TYPE” appears on the display.
< When RDS Clock time (CT) mode is selected, this
function is not available.
3 Select a desired programme type using the
MULTI JOG knob.
You can select from 31 kinds of PTY programmes.
The programme type blinks.
< You can also use the Cursor buttons ( ° /
°
) on the
remote control unit to select a programme type.
4 Press the ENTER button.
The programme type stops blinking.
5 Turn the MULTI JOG knob.
The unit starts searching.
< You can also start searching by pressing the Cursor
button ( ° or
°
) on the remote control unit.
< When the programme that you have selected is found,
searching stops and the programme type will be
displayed.
< If a matching programme type is not found during PTY
Search, it will stop at the first frequency.
< If you want to stop searching, press the RDS button.
