Making and Receiving Calls
* The base microphone is located under the base. Position yourself as close to the base as possible.

Making a
call
1) Pick up the handset from the cradle.
2) Press [talk].
3) Listen for the dial tone.
4) Dial the number.
OR
1) Remove the handset from the cradle.
2) Dial the number.
3) Press [talk].

3) Dial the number.
OR
1) Dial the number.
2) Press [talk]. 1) Pick up the corded
handset.
2) Listen for the dial tone.
3) Dial the number.
OR
1) Dial the number.
2) Pick up the corded

Note: To insert a two-second pause in the dialing sequence in standby, press [redial/pause].
A P appears in the display.
Receiving a
call
1) Pick up the handset from the cradle.
(If AutoTalk is on, the phone answers
automatically when you pick up the
handset from the charging cradle.)
2) Press [talk].
OR
If the handset is off the cradle, press
[talk]. (If AutoTalk is on, you can press
any key in the twelve number keypad.)
Press [talk].
Pick up the corded
handset.
Hanging Up Press [talk] or return the handset to the
cradle.
Press [talk].
Return the corded
handset to the base.
