1. O verview
What happens at Installation and Setup
Your Xerox representative installed the FreeFlow Scanner 665E
and its associated PC.
Your Xerox Service Representative also installed FreeFlow
Scanner 665E software on the PC.
A test job was sent from the scanner to the Digital Press to ensure
all connections were working correctly.
Where to find documentation
Scanner customer documentation
We recommend that you print all the Scanner Customer
Documentation and keep it close to the press in the 3-ring binder.
You can locate all Scanner customer documentation on your
FreeFlow Scanner 665E Customer Documentation CD. Your
customer documentation CD was shipped with the Scanner.
You will find the following Adobe

Acrobat

PDF files on the CD:
• Operator Manual
This manual provides information on how to use and maintain
the Scanner.
• System Administration Guide
This guide provides information on how to maintain:
– The associated PC: protecting it from viruses and related
Microsoft
®
Windows
®
network and configuration
– The Scanner: using the Online Help for accessing the
Configuration tab and CRU information
This guide also provides information on system administration
and FreeFlow administration.
NOTE: In order to view and print the PDF files, Adobe Acrobat
Reader
®
must be loaded on your computer. Adobe Acrobat
Reader software is included on the customer CD.
