Irrespective of mileage, the timing drive belt must be replace every 4 years for heavy duty applications, cold climates, town use, long periods idling) or at least
every 5 years.
(**) The engine oil and oil filter should be changed depending on their actual condition, which is indicated by a warning light/message on the control panel or at
least every 2 years.
1 For 1.4 T-JET and 1.4 Turbo Multi Air versions, in order to ensure correct operation and avoid significant damages to the engines, it is mandatory:
- to use spark plugs specifically certified for T-JET and Multi Air engine only, of the same type and brand (see paragraph “Engine”);
- to replace the plugs as often as required by the Programmesed Maintenance Plan;
- we recommend to refer to the Fiat Dealership.
2 If the car is mainly used in cities or travels less than 10,000 km a year, change the engine oil and filter every 12 months.
3 If the car is mainly used in towns and cities, change the engine oil and filter every 12 months.
