7 Diagnosis
7.1 Simulation
To simulate a certain filling, you can call up
the function "Simulation" on the adjustment
module MINICOM, in the software program
VVO or in the HART
® handheld.
With this function, you simulate a and hence a
real sensor current vessel filling level. Please
note that connected instruments, such as
e.g. a PLC, react according to their adjust-
ments and will probably activate alarms or
system functions.
7.2 Error codes
Error codes Corrective measure
E013 No valid measured value Message is displayed during the warm-up
- Sensor in the warm-up phase phase
- Loss of the useful echo If the message remains, a false echo storage
(menu "Sensor optimisation") must be carried out
with the adjustment modul MINICOM or better
with the PC and VVO.
If the meassage is still displayed, you have to
carry out a readjustment.
E017 Adjustment span too small Carry out a readjustment.
Make sure that the difference between
min. and max. adjustment is at least 10 mm .
E036 Sensor software does not run Sensor requires a software (service).
Message appears during a software update.
E040 Hardware failure/Electronics defec- Check all connection cables.
