Safety notes
WARNING:
Use caution when working with dangerous contact voltages.
Observe the following notes when working:
This device supplies contact-safe high voltage according to EN 61010-1.
Do not connect multiple high-voltage power supplies in series.
Do not switch on the device until you have assembled the complete experiment setup and turned the
ADJUST regulation knob full ccw.
Always switch off the device before touching any components of the circuit.
Do not put anything on top of the power supply, that could prevent natural air cooling of the device.
If any of the outputs are overloaded, turn off the device and replace the fuse if necessary. Make sure your
circuit is assembled correct, before turning on the device again.
Description
Mains switch.
If the light in the display goes out, remove the mains cable
and check the fuse in the fuse holder on the rear panel of the
device.
6.3 V AC voltage output, maximum load 3 A. If the voltage
disappears, and the LED-display is still on, there has been
an overload. Turn off the device - unscrew the FUSE-cap
and replace the fuse (3A slow blow).
ADJUST - regulation of 0 ... 6000 V DC output.
Continuous regulation with digital voltmeter to the right.
