H2PPC05022 TAILLIGHT GUARD
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The taillight guards come with two stainless steel brackets, not attached to the guards. Remove
the small screws that are started in the frame backs, install the brackets with the “L” part facing to
the inside of the guard. Note that the holes in the bracket will only allow you to mount the bracket
where it belongs. Open the tailgate door. Clean the black area along the outside of each taillight
where the adhesive pads will sit .
On the inside edge of the taillight there are two screws that must be removed. The Taillight Guard
will bolt here. Take the guard marked “Top Right” and remove the brown liner from the adhesive
on the two short legs. Re-install the screws (be sure the words “Top Right” are at the top of the
light, but do not tighten them yet. Align the guard and press the adhesive legs into place. Now
tighten the screws.
