This QIG is designed to aid in the quick installation of your PROLiNK ® PWH2004 Wireless
HSPA Router. If you experience problems following these procedures or need further

2. HARDWARE CONNECTION
2.1 Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the
LAN port of the PWH2004 Wireless HSPA
Router, another end to your PC or Notebook
2.2
Select one way to connect to the Internet:
X Connection via HSPA (3G) Modem
X Connection via ADSL Modem
(Refer to Application Diagram at Section 1)
2.3
Finally, connect the PWH2004 Wireless HSPA
Router with a power to an outlet.

3. PC CONFIGURATION
Before setting up the PWH2004 Wireless HSPA
Router, make sure your PCs are configured to “Obtain
an IP address automatically.”
3.1 Click
Start f Control Panel f Network And
Internet Connection f (Right Click On)
Local Area Connection f Properties
3.2 Make sure the checkbox Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) is being checked. Select the Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) and click the Properties
button.
3.3 Select “Obtain an IP address automatically”
and “Obtain DNS server address
automatically”. Then click OK to complete the
PC Configuration.
4. ROUTER CONFIGURATION
4.1
For Windows 2000 and XP users, your
computer should obtain an IP address
automatically from the PWH2004 Wireless
HSPA Router’s DHCP server, after you’ve
done the above steps and restarted your
computer.
4.2 Start a web browser, type IP address
“192.168.123.254” into address box.
4.3
After connected successfully, the login screen
will be prompted on screen. Default username
is ‘admin’ and password is ‘password’.
4.4 Click the Setup Wizard item that provides a
primary configuration of the PWH2004
Wireless HSPA Router.
